Antioch Writers' Workshop Records
Founded in 1986, the Antioch Writers' Workshop is a nonprofit organization that encourages creative writing by offering classes and seminars. It has evolved over the years from a community of writers who mingled with faculty and students informally throughout the day into a fiscal agent of the Antioch College. The records include meeting minutes, correspondence, financial and membership records, photographs, posters, VHS, pamphlets, newsletters, and multimedia.
Jim Fain Collection
The Jim Fain Collection consists of materials related to the illustrious career of Jim Fain, a nationally recognized newspaper editor and columnist. The collection includes biographical material, speeches, news articles, correspondence and photographs.
Andrew S. Iddings Papers
Correspondence, notes, travel journals, clippings, financial records, and business files pertaining to Iddings' long career as a lawyer, businessman, civic leader and photographer in Dayton, Ohio.
D. L. Stewart Papers
This collection documents the career of Dayton Daily News columnist and Kettering resident, D.L. Stewart. The collection is entirely made up of Stewart's column from 1975 to 2011. The column was nationally syndicated in 1980 and featured over fifty newspapers nationwide. In the column Stewart discusses popular culture, sports, and family in a humorous and sometimes sincere tone. Stewart has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize five times and is the author of four books.
